Scope

This policy describes local storage and similar technologies used on Plant Care websites and applications, including plants.natiboo.es and app.plants.natiboo.es.

Necessary technical storage

Plant Care uses necessary technical storage for features such as:

session;
language preferences;
offline operation;
PWA updates;
temporary image selection;
remembering the analytics decision.
Supabase Auth may persist the local session. The landing page uses local storage for necessary preferences, including selected language and the analytics choice. This technical storage is not used for advertising.

Google Analytics

At plants.natiboo.es we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the landing page is used and to measure certain actions, including beta-access clicks, application access from the header and language changes.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you expressly accept the analytics category.

If you reject it:

Google Analytics is not loaded;
no page views are sent to Google Analytics;
Plant Care instrumented events are not sent.
The current configuration always denies advertising-related consent: ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization. Plant Care does not currently use Google Analytics for advertising.

When there is no previous choice, Plant Care offers:

Reject.
Accept analytics.
Both options must have reasonably equivalent visibility. “Continuing to browse” is not used as consent. The decision is remembered locally as a technical preference.
The internal localStorage key is not published in this legal text unless there is a specific reason to do so.

Changing your choice

You can later change your choice through Cookie preferences in the landing-page footer.

If you withdraw consent, Plant Care stops sending new analytics events and stores the new preference. Withdrawal does not alter data lawfully processed before withdrawal.

Browser controls

You can also control storage and permissions in your browser. Clearing storage may sign you out, remove preferences, remove offline-only data or cause Plant Care to ask for certain choices again.

Clearing local storage does not replace server-side account deletion.
